Quality Service Center hosted a “Repair-It-Forward” campaign, inviting customers and community members to nominate someone they felt deserved a free oil change. The initiative was designed to give back and recognize individuals in the community who consistently support others and make a positive impact. What began as a single oil change giveaway expanded when Bare Bear Printing generously sponsored a second recipient. Two winners were selected, Nancy Betts and Michelle Sherman, making the campaign a meaningful way to serve and celebrate members of the community.
Keith and Jodi first met Byron years ago through an after-school church group, where a young Byron shared his excitement and dream of one day becoming a race car driver. That passion was impossible to miss—and it’s one we’ve proudly supported ever since. Byron’s love for racing began early. At just three and a half years old, he could name NASCAR drivers and their car numbers, with Jimmie Johnson as his early favorite. Inspired by his father, Scott Urey—who raced 600cc Micro Sprintcars—racing became part of Byron’s life from the start. The legacy continues with car number 71, passed down through generations and inspired by the late dirt track racer Gary Wolford. In 2023, Byron officially began racing at age 11 in Quarter Midgets, where he raced for two years and earned three wins.
In 2025, he advanced to 500cc Micro Sprintcars, continuing to build experience and sharpen his skills. To date, Byron has competed in approximately 70 races, now racing a Triple X chassis and working toward his first Micro Sprint victory. His goals for the season include consistent top-10 finishes, a top-10 points ranking, and podium appearances.
Byron says his favorite part of racing is the intense competition and adrenaline he feels behind the wheel. Byron credits his success to the support of his family and sponsors, including Quality Service Center.
We’re proud to stand behind Byron and his journey—proof that when a community believes in someone early on, incredible things can happen.
In January, Quality Service Center kicked off the year by giving back to the community with our 2026 Shop Credit Giveaway, awarding $250 in shop credit to one local customer to use toward any service or repair. The response from our community was incredible, and we loved seeing the excitement and support from everyone who participated. We’re excited to congratulate Todd Bruchnak as our January winner and truly appreciate everyone who took part.
Giving back to the community that supports us is something we value deeply, and this giveaway is just one of the many ways we aim to say thank you and continue building lasting relationships with our customers.
We recently joined our fellow NAPA AutoCare Centers at the York County Food Bank to present a donation check for $12,750 to help fight hunger right here in our community.
It was an incredible reminder of how powerful it can be when local businesses and neighbors come together for a common cause. The York County Food Bank plays a vital role in supporting families who are struggling to put food on the table, and especially during the holiday season, their shelves empty faster than ever.
For us, it is not just about auto repair. It is about giving back to the community that continues to support us year after year. Seeing the direct impact of this donation, knowing it will provide meals, comfort, and hope to families in need, was a humbling experience for all of us.
It is a privilege to be part of a community that steps up to care for one another, and we are proud to stand alongside so many others who give back. Together, we can continue to make a difference, one meal, one act of kindness, and one family at a time.
We had such a great time supporting the Dallastown Cougar Field Hockey girls team this season! It’s always awesome to cheer on these talented athletes and be part of such a dedicated community.
Congratulations on an incredible season, Cougars!
Throughout August, we had the privilege of delivering the school supplies collected from our School Supply Drive to the Christian School of York. Seeing the excitement and gratitude from the staff and students reminded us exactly why we do what we do.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this effort such a success. Your generosity made it possible for local kids to start the school year feeling prepared, confident, and supported by their community.
For us, it is not just about auto repair, it is about giving back to the people and families who make York such a special place to call home. We are proud to stand alongside our neighbors and do our part to make a difference, one small act of kindness at a time.
We are proud to share that our 2nd Annual Quality Service Center Scholarship Award was a huge success! Each year, we invite local college-aged students to apply for a chance to receive $500 toward their tuition, a small way for us to give back and invest in the next generation of leaders right here in our community.
This year, we are thrilled to congratulate Mia Flickinger, the winner of our 2025 Scholarship Award! Mia is continuing her education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and we couldn’t be more excited to support her journey. Her drive, dedication, and passion for learning truly stood out among a group of incredible applicants.
Thank you to every student who took the time to apply and share their stories. We were inspired by the hard work, determination, and goals of so many young people in our community.
At Quality Service Center, we believe our commitment goes far beyond auto repair, it’s about helping people move forward, whether that’s on the road or in life. Supporting education and giving back to our community will always be at the heart of what we do.
Huge congratulations to our Father’s Day Giveaway winners, John and Randy!
Both stopped by the shop to pick up their $100 gift cards to Twin Pine Farm & Country Store, and we couldn’t be happier for them. We hope they enjoy browsing all the fresh, local goodies and finding something special to treat themselves this summer!
This annual giveaway is one of our favorite traditions because it gives us a chance to celebrate the amazing dads in our community who keep their families, and their vehicles, running strong. It’s our small way of saying thank you to those who work hard every day and trust Quality Service Center to keep them safely on the road.
A big thank you to everyone who participated and shared in the fun. We love connecting with our customers through these community giveaways and can’t wait for the next one!
Huge congratulations to our Mother’s Day Giveaway winners, Sherry Hubler and Kristen Eberly!
Both of these amazing moms took home a $100 gift certificate to The First Post Public House, one of York’s favorite local spots for great food and a welcoming atmosphere. We hope you both enjoy a delicious meal and a well-deserved night out, you’ve earned it!
Our Mother’s Day Giveaway is one of our favorite ways to celebrate the incredible women who hold families and communities together. Whether it’s juggling work, home, or everything in between, moms do it all and we’re honored to give back to a few of them in a small but meaningful way.
A big thank you to everyone who entered and helped make this giveaway such a success. We’re grateful for our amazing customers and community who continue to support Quality Service Center year after year. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
