As an Experienced Auto Mechanic at Quality Service Center, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. Your expertise and hands-on experience will ensure that our customers receive the highest standard of service. We are looking for a dedicated professional with at least 5 years of experience in the automotive repair industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic & Repair: Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake systems, electrical systems, and suspension components.
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks to ensure vehicles operate efficiently.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on repairs. Ensure all work is documented in compliance with company policies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other mechanics and service advisors to ensure timely and accurate completion of all repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an auto mechanic or in a similar role.
- Certification: ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification preferred; relevant manufacturer certifications are a plus.
- Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills; proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment; excellent mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, repair techniques, and industry best practices.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy parts, bending, and working in various positions.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to diagnosing and repairing vehicles, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Cleanliness: Each technician is expected to keep his/her bay clean and clutter free along with making sure trash and recycling cans are emptied along with oil drains.
